Our Journey
Some things have a way of coming full circle.
Growing up in my family's manufacturing business, fashion has always been part of my world.
Surrounded by fabrics, patterns, sewing machines and the people who brought garments to life.
Some of my earliest memories are from the very factory where RIIN came to life. My mum would sit me beside her sewing machine, tucked into a cardboard box with a bottle of milk and an empty thread spool to keep me entertained whilst she worked.
My dad built the business that gave me that childhood. Years later, he would give me the opportunity to build RIIN - I suppose, looking back, the foundations were there all along.
I studied fashion at university with the intention of one day starting a brand of my own. But after graduating, life got busy. I started working and the dream of having my own label stayed quietly in the background.
Until my thirties, I decided to bring it to life.
And RIIIN was born.
The idea was simple.Create clean minimalist pieces that feel effortless to wear and easy to make your own.
Everyday clothing, elevated basics, footwear and jewellery made to layer.
RIIN isn't about having everything. It's about having the right things.
The pieces you reach for without thinking. The ones that work with what you already own and become part of your everyday.
Not long after launching, life took an unexpected turn and RIIN took a pause.
Whilst the brand stood still, life moved forward. I became a mum, embraced a completely new chapter and eventually found myself ready to return to RIIN.
So here I am.
Back in the same factory where my story began.
Back to the dream I put on hold.
Back to RIIN.
Only this time, the cardboard box has had a little upgrade.
There's a playpen in my office.
And somehow, that feels like the perfect place to begin again.
Where one chapter ends and another begins. One effortless piece at a time.
